A lot of people still don’t get twitter, in fact some people loathe the service, and rightly so because it is really just too much information to be passing on a daily/hourly basis.
But there are a few twitter accounts that belong to some prominent people which are fun, crazy, informative and even “scientific” that they warrant being followed.
Neil deGrasse Tyson – A very vocal proponent of science who takes the time to explain complex ideas in a very straightforward and easy to understand way. His tweets are informative, funny and sometimes just personal.
Louis C.K. – One of the funniest comedians today Louis’s brand of humor may not take to everyone. Chances are you will probably find it offensive. I guess that’s what sets him apart he says stuff that most people are thinking, but never say, in a very matter of fact and funny way.
Schwarzenegger - Do I really need to explain who he is, unless you were born in the past decade…in which case do your mom and dad know you’re browsing the internet?
Conan O’Brien – He had a show, then he had another show. Now he has a twitter account. One of the most funniest comedians/talk show hosts around, Conan’s tweets are consistently fresh, funny and provide a little insight into his life.
ShitMyDadSays – I’ve followed this account myself since the beginning and it’s no wonder that social networks love him, the “twitter” account now has it’s own TV SHOW!! Yep, that’s what happens in the the age of twitter, you can get a TV show named after your twitter account if your as original as “Dad” here.
brokep – As one of the founders of The Pirate Bay brokep is to the film and recording industry what Fidel Castro was to the entire United States.
Roger Ebert – Film critic who uses digital media to “talk” to his fans and supporters after thyroid cancer left him without his voice. His movie critiques are syndicated to hundreds of newspapers around the world.
Notch – One of the lead developers of a independently produced PC game called Minecraft this account regularly sees the top “voted” posts in social networks like reddit and digg. Why should you follow it? Because it’s a revelation in showing you that you do not need to work for a big corporation to make stuff that people like and make money with it.
Stephen Colbert – If you are looking for a clear view of the twisted world of U.S. politics, peppered with a huge dose of sarcasm and comedy, then look no further then Colbert’s twitter feed.
donttrythis – If Adam Savage from the Mythbusters tells you not to try this at home. You better listen to him.
So how many of the above accounts do you follow? Got any offbeat twitter accounts that you think we must know about, just leave a comment with the link below.

I do consider all the ideas you’ve offered for your post. They are very convincing and will certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are very short for beginners. May just you please prolong them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
