Make Money With TweetRoll

We have rolled out a new feature to our TweetRoll widget. This small, yet significant, change will allow you to potentially make money with twitter by displaying your availability to accept sponsored tweets to all of your website visitors, some of whom could be potential advertisers.

We’ve made use of the Sponsored Tweets API to supplement the functionality of the widget and give users the ability to advertise their availability via the SponsoredTweets.com platform.

If you have a Sponsored Tweets account, the widget will automatically detect this and add a special section that shows visitors how much it will cost to “Sponsor a Tweet”. Clicking on the link takes a visitor directly to your Sponsored Tweets profile page enabling a visitor to sponsor one or more of your Tweets, as well as providing you a referral if the visitor is new to Sponsored Tweets.

How Can You Get Started?

Simply register here, you will then get re-directed to our widget customization area. If you are not signed up with Sponsored Tweets yet you will find the links to sign up with in the same area. It should not take you more than a minute for each sign up process.

Once you have registered on both services simply take the generated line of script for the TweetRoll widget and place it anywhere on your blog. If you are using WordPress, there’s a handy widget to help you out with it too.

Your “Price per Tweet” will now automatically show up on your very own personalized widget.

Want to know the best part? If the referral you send to Sponsored Tweets is new you get credit for it! If that’s not a win-win situation, I don’t know what is!

What if I don’t want this on my widget?

No need to worry. If you are not enrolled with Sponsored Tweets your widget will not display the aforementioned feature. You can continue to enjoy the widget in all it’s original glory.
