Keeping The Lights On

Ever since we started our little widget service we’ve not charged or made any money off of it (except for a little API contest we won which ends up benefiting everyone). Our servers have gone through various downtimes just to keep the service afloat, serving 140,000 impressions, and growing, per day can do that.

So in order for us to keep the lights on we’ve recently made a small adjustment to our tweetroll widget. There will be a small advertisement at the bottom of the widget clearly marked with “#ad”. This is unobtrusive as we can get while trying to keep the lights on for this free service. We hope you will continue to use Tweetroll and gain more Twitter followers.
